IIt's All About the Paint

In 2017, 81 units in the eastern end of Country Villa were painted with new colors. BEHR was the

supplier of the paint and provided “Repaint Specifications” below. BEHR is recommended by Consumer's Report and should last 10 years with warranty, assuming proper prep work and application is completed. The warranty should be received from BEHR at the end of the paint contract.

In 2020, we will paint the western half, including the clubhouse and 99 homes on Meadowstone Ct., Glenwood Ct., Heather Glen Ct., Stonecreek Pl., Keller Spring Ct., Brookmount Ct., and Willowgate Dr.

Please keep any repairs up to date and follow the guidelines for touchup painting if required.

Note: These mixing instructions are for a five gallon container. Any other size will need to be adjusted.

The manufacturer states: “Caution: To assure consistent color, order enough paint to complete the job and intermix all containers of the same color before application.”

There will be a minor color difference between the old and new paint. To minimize the appearance, paint a complete surface to a natural transition such as a corner or joint line.

For smaller containers, you may find it convenient to take a sample of your paint to any convenient paint supplier and have them match the color. If the paint is applied to corners and joints as described above, any noticeable color or sheen difference should be minimal.

An exact color match is not possible with age. If you use a high quality paint and follow the guidelines, you should be happy with the results.
